Pictures from the New GTN Show: Through the Bible with Andrew Wommack

When GTN launched almost a year ago, Andrew’s audience was suddenly exposed to many more teachers and shows coming out of the Ministry. The goal was to cast a wider net and offer more diversity to more people. However, over the past year, teams have realized that Andrew’s audience wanted more content from him specifically and that they needed to build a better bridge from Andrew’s content and teaching to the new teachers and shows, and vice versa. So, leadership decided to tweak the GTN broadcast schedule to have more of Andrew’s programs during peak viewing time, including the Gospel Truth daily show, Andrew’s Classics, Grace & Faith Today, some great archives from The Gospel Truth, conference recordings, and a brand-new aspect – Through the Bible. Eight hours of GTN daily will now be with Andrew!

Ivar Muren, Executive Director of GTN, came up with the idea of Andrew doing a show based around the Living Commentary, teaching verse by verse. Andrew loved the idea, and the show went from vision to reality very quickly. We know that Andrew’s contacts, friends, and partners are going to love this new show and the ability to dive deeper into the Word with Andrew than ever before!

There will be two versions of Through the Bible. One is a GTN version, which will air in 30-minute segments, and the other will air full Bible chapters on YouTube, no matter how long Andrew teaches. During filming, Andrew teaches as long as he wants at one time without stopping, allowing him to flow with the text and what the Lord has spoken to him. These longer videos will be posted to YouTube, and our GTN Editors will edit the longer sections into 28:30-minute episodes for GTN.

Andrew has determined that he needs to teach on 24 verses a day to finish in five years, so in each filming session, he tries to cover a certain number of verses. Although he is going verse by verse, he still can’t cover everything that the Lord has shown him over the past several decades, so he directs viewers to the Living Commentary for even more teaching, as well as his other teachings, if people want to go deeper into specific topics. Additionally, every time Andrew finishes a chapter, he counts down how many more he has to go. It’s such a fun addition and shows you truly how much content will be covered by this amazing new show!

Carrie Pickett shares that the staff filming the show are hearing him say new things that they’ve never heard before, and they are super excited! Andrew generally teaches topically on his Gospel Truth program, so this show gives viewers something new. In Through the Bible, he takes his audience a little deeper, walking through the Bible together with them verse by verse, which aligns strongly with his vision of discipleship.

This show pairs beautifully with the Living Commentary, which is a legacy product for Andrew. He continually writes new footnotes that get added every week, and he has been working with AWM Marketing on new maps, images, and graphics, making the Living Commentary the most extensive Bible studying resource that it can be. These resources are a call to viewers who are hungry for deep discipleship.

Through the Bible is being produced by Betsy Massoth and filmed in Studio C in the IPG (internal parking garage) at Charis. It’s filmed in a beautiful new set that was built in only a week and a half. Although the format of Andrew being 1-on-1 with the camera lends itself to The Gospel Truth daily show, this new show has a look-and-feel that is a little classier, with Andrew wearing a suit jacket and the set having warm tones, plants and decorative objects on the bookshelves, lots of wood elements including a gorgeous new desk, and a lovely Colorado LED background out of the windows. As Elizabeth Muren shares, it is elegant, homey, and fits his personality.

The Gospel Truth Daily Show and Through the Bible are the priorities for his time, and he will be pulling back on filming Andrew’s Classics, with only 2-3 more series being filmed for the remainder of the year. He will also now be only a rare guest on Grace & Faith Today, with Mike & Carrie Pickett and Colin & April Carr now being the primary hosts.

Carrie shares that Through the Bible should begin airing in January, because they want to have 4-5 months of content already prepared before launch. The launch time will be beneficial and help our contacts, friends, and partners start 2026 off right with the Bible Reading Plan, Living Commentary, and Andrew’s new show!

The world needs you now more than ever before. Many of you have been walking with the Ministry and listening to Andrew’s daily show for years – are you ready to now go deeper?
